Killing Dog Fleas

When choosing a flea treatment for your cat or dog then you must make sure that you have the correct treatment for your pet?s size. A cat is NOT a small dog and so you must never use dog flea treatment on your cat as this could result in your cat becoming really poorly and will not get rid of the fleas.

The chemicals may not always spread properly so they may not be very effective. Some cat flea collars are not fitted with safety snap open buckle so if your cat becomes caught they will not be able to get free and may become injured.

Spot on products are available for both cats and dogs, but you must be very sure that you have the correct product for your pet for the treatment to be effective. Spot on products are generally put on your pet at the back of the neck, between the shoulder blades.
